Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American actor and musician. She began by releasing humorous, cleverly written rap songs that addressed topics like race as well as sexuality. Later, she broadened her fan base to Hollywood. She was born Nora Lum to Chinese and Korean immigrant parents from Forest Hills Queens her first encounter with the world of music was via trumpet. Jazz, classical and hip-hop education began when she was just a teenager. At college, she was studying journalism and women's studies. She even spent some time learning Mandarin at the University of Beijing. It wasn't until she graduated that she begin to concentrate on music. Her track in 2012 My Vag a response to Mickey Avalon's My Dick found viral success through the Internet before settling on her debut LP Yellow Ranger in 2014. The album featured other viral hits like the body-positive Queef and the winking tour of her hometown NYC Bitche$1. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. Apart from having published a book and a singer, she was also a professional as a singer. As well as early shows, such Girl Code and Tawk - she appeared in the movies Neighbors 2 Storks and Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came in 2018 with a few movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. That June she issued the EP in Fina We Trust.
